Jordan Walker and Johnny McGuire were two of the first people I met when i started crashing on couches, trying to make my move to Nashville. That was about three years ago, and man, have these guys worked their asses off in that time! Today, their music video debuted on country music blog, TheBoot.com.
When the time came to shoot the video for their first release to iTunes, I was honored to step in and make it happen. The problem was, I was headed to Europe for three weeks, and the boys were on a deadline. So this video was written, cast, produced, shot and edited in about a 48 hour time span. It was the definition of a run and gun shoot. All I had was my Sonya7rii on a shoulder strap, my Ziess 50mm 1.4 and Sigma 18-35 1.8 and about 3 hours with our lead actor (who is not an actor) on his BIRTHDAY NIGHT. Shout out to John Wesley Satterfield for killing the role!
I'm really happy the way this video turned out and I love that at the end of the day, this video was just a few friends having fun together during a no stress shoot. Thank you to everyone who helped out and collaborated on this video and the entire launch of Walker McGuire's song "Til Tomorrow."
